Theo Paphitis

Theo PaphitisI first met Dragons’ Den favourite Theo Paphitis when I went to his home to interview him as the new BBC business series – in which he was one of the investors looking to back enterprising businesses – started to grip the nation. Before we got down to the fine details of his rags-to-riches story I delivered my pitch – to ghost-write his autobiography.
His answer was swift and to the point: “I’m out!” But then when the article appeared, Theo softened his response – I must have said nice things about him – and he agreed to talk to my literary agent.

We worked together on the book, Enter the Dragon, in a series of interviews in which I got to know the driven persona behind the incredibly successful businessman and entrepreneur. Theo is a man’s man as well as being happily married to the lovely Mrs P and father for five.

A fanatical football fan, who once owned Millwall, he is bursting with ideas and fantastic company. Thankfully, every time there is a new series of Dragons’ Den on TV, the paperback version of the book enjoys a resurgence!
