Tal Berkovich

At the height of the Israeli-Egyptian dispute, I was freelancing out of Tel Aviv as the area’s correspondent for The Sun.I picked up a smattering of Evrit – the national language of Israel – but I find the opportunities to use it now are few and far between. That is … until I met one of Israel’s most famous models, Tal Berkovich.

Tal was born in Haifa, but is now based in Chelsea and featured in The Sun a number of times. Now I have been looking after her publicity as she firmly establishes herself in London and the rest of Europe where she is mouth sought after for photographic work.

Her modelling career has taken her from London to Barcelona, Istanbul, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Poland, Ibiza, Moscow and of course Berlin, Milan and Paris. Tal has also hosted prime-time TV programmes and appeared in commercials and music videos. Last year she finished fourth in the Israeli version of Strictly Come Dancing.

Tal recently completed her studies at the renowned Actors’ Temple School in London and has appeared in two hit movies, The Boat That Rocked, written and directed by Richard Curtis, and Walt Disney’s Prince Of Persia, directed by Mike Newell, where she played opposite Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal.

Despite all this, Tal still finds time for her other passions, which include yoga, regarding and cooking with her friends and when time permits going back to Israel to visit family and friends.

A true Virgo, Tal is modest, intelligent, extremely loyal and not afraid to attempt any challenge put in front of her, as the story of her life so far proves.
