Cure Cancer

Sandra Hamilton, Cure Cancer

Cure Cancer is a phenomenal new charity launched by the incredible Sandra Hamilton. Founded by the gutsy mother of three after her diagnosis of the incurable Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL). But Sandra is adamant: “I have not accepted my fate and given up on life. I am fighting to survive and to help others live too.”

The renowned University College London Hospitals (UCLH) has set up a research team that plans ground-breaking work in the search for new, more effective cures. And Sandra, with the help of her hard-working committee, aims to raise £50,000 as soon as possible to fund their first researcher and buy vital equipment. “One hundred per cent of all donations go towards finding a cure,” Sandra said.

“With your help and support we can stop the pain and save lives.” Sandra’s most ambitious fund-raising event has just been launched. The Party In Pink Zumbathon with Cure Cancer UCLH will take place at London’s Alexandra Palace on October 16. More than 4,500 Zumba enthusiasts are expected to attend and the event is to be adjudicated by The Guinness Book of Records. Laurie has donated his PR services to help me tell my story and to help me realise my dream of saving lives.
